Welcome to Manywa initiative for children
We are Grass-root organisation based in Manywa, Uganda, that is combining education with sustainable development to improve the life quality among the region and make them financially independent. Our initiative started operations in 2018 with the opening of the first fully free school for the community kids, then through a noble group of donors we have the opportunity to dig a borehole to provide clean water for the village, a remote region without any available service. We have received the help of around 10 volunteers who have stayed to worked here so far, forming a small community of international solidarity, networking, and providing services especially in the field of education, sustainability, and development. Our international volunteers are assisting our local staff members in the implementation of our programme lines.

OUR MISSION
Manywa Initiative for Children aims to be a free education eco-sustainable centre for children from 4 to 18 years old, to the most vulnerable regions in Uganda. All the students will receive a nutritious diet for their healthy development. Our senior students will learn skills of green jobs creating financially independency, a positive environmental impact, and an economic development for the region.
OUR VISION
The MIC centre is a development sustainable free programme for the most needed community which will be a financially independent source of education, green business projects, employment, multicultural space, general health support, and an entrepreneurship international network hub. Expanding around Uganda, bringing a life changing present and generational opportunity.
